This document sets out the key priority areas that the Reviewer has identified to guide their work in 2025-26. The priority areas are not listed in any particular order.
In terms of the identified priorities, work will be taken forward that takes into account the current landscape in respect of where there is, or is not, existing activity. A key aim is to identify where value can be added and where there are opportunities for improvement.
Whilst these key priority areas have been identified, the Reviewer will remain open to considering emerging areas which merit further review or assessment.
The Reviewer will also contribute as a matter of course to relevant consultations, wider policy and legislation developments, inquiries, reviews, and public discourse regarding matters that relate to autism.
